Brad Halford has warned rival Shane Graham that he has the power to end their upcoming battle with just one punch, when the pair collide for the vacant Queensbury English Light Welterweight title.

Thirty three year old Halford originally from Epsom will face Graham later this month in the biggest fight of his boxing career when the pair meet for the coveted English title at the Effingham Park Hotel in West Sussex, and after flooring all four of his previous victims during his time in the competition, Halford will enter the contest as the favourite when the pair lock horns.

Since entering the televised boxing competition, Halford has appeared several times on British Eurosport with his knockout displays, and after capturing the Southern Area title in only his third fight, Halford has set his sights on beating Graham on October 26th, and then securing a shot at the British title before he finally hangs up the gloves.

Talking ahead of the showdown, Halford admits it will not be an easy fight after seeing Graham in action previously in the league, but believes he’s got what it takes to lift his second title.

“I’ve seen Shane box once before, and although I don’t know that much about him, he looks strong and powerful so I’m going to have my hands full on the night," commented Halford.

“Since joining the shows ranks I’ve floored every opponent I’ve fought, and in my last title defence I stopped Jon Martin in the first round who had previously gone the distance with big punchers up at Light Middleweight, so I know the power is there.

“Training has been going really well for this fight and I’ve been concentrating on getting in as much sparring as possible, so whether this turns out to be a boxing match or a war, I’ll be more than ready to face what he brings.”

Halford's title challenge will top the bill on the stacked 14-bout line up taking place at the Effingham Park Hotel near Crawley in West Sussex, and for ticket information contact the Ultimate Fitness Gym in Leatherhead on 07983 285066 or log on to www.queensburyboxing.co.uk
