Hampton & Richmond Borough new boy Jamie Calvin marked his Beavers Ryman Premier League debut with a goal and left striker partner Charlie Moone drooling.
Calvin, who impressed boss Alan Dowson on trial in a 1-1 draw with a Brentford development XI last week, hit the first in a 2-1 triumph over league leaders Maidstone United on Tuesday before setting up the second for Moone.
Last season's Ryman Premier League golden boot winner has often ploughed a lone furrow up front for the Beavers this season.
And he has welcomed Calvin's arrivial - if only to ease the load on his shoulders.
“I’ve played up top on my own a lot this season, which has been hard," said Moone.
"Dan Thompson and Dave Tarpey made me look good last season. You need somone up front with you to distract defenders and I have not always had that this year.
"I really liked the look of Jamie. He was happy to share the workload and wanted to play with me and make runs off me.
"He scored a great goal and nodded the ball down for my goal. He really influenced the game.”
Hampton head to VCD Athletic tomorrow.
