Kingston & Polytechnic Harrier Pippa Earley hit the top of the UK long jump rankings on Saturday.
The 14-year-old leapt 5.55m to win English Indoor Championships U15 girls’ gold medal – adding to the English 75m sprint hurdle outdoor title she won last summer.
It is the fourth best jump of all time from a UK U15 girl and ranks Earley as the number one long jumper in the country in that age group.
Earley, coached by John Shepherd and a student at Notre Dame School in Elmbridge, will compete at the national pentathlon championships in Sheffield on March 14.
