MP Chris Grayling is urging everyone to attend a meeting to discuss the threat to Epsom Hospital tonight, Thursday, February 7.
The meeting, to be held from 7pm to 9pm in the main hall at Blenheim High School, in Longmead Road, Epsom, will include a presentation from the Better Services Better Value (BSBV) team.
The representatives - Miles Freeman, chief officer of the Surrey Downs Clinical Commissioning Group; Dr Simon Williams; Rachel Tyndall, senior representative officer, and Mike Bailey; joint medical director of BSBV, will give a 20 minute presentation on their strategy, and then take questions from the public.
Mr Grayling will also address the meeting. He is urging as many people as possible to attend "to gauge how the public feels about Epsom hospital and what it wants done".
Members of the Save Our Hospitals campaign, who are opposing cuts to hospitals across south west London, will be staging a protest outside the meeting tomorrow.
