Chris Goddard, Sam Pullen (barman), Srah Paley (General Manager), Oliver Harding (barman) and Leah Goddard.
The clock is ticking for Kingston town centre’s favourite drinking spots to be crowned winners of the Best Bar None awards.
For the first time the Surrey Comet has got involved and called on the public to decide which bar has the best atmosphere and the best staff in Kingston.
Organiser Kingstonfirst has managed to whittle down all licensed venues in the town centre to just 17 worthy establishments that drinkers can choose from.
Sarah Paley, manager at the Ram in High Street, said: “We have been runners-up in the past, but this year we want to win.
“We are a big family here. We all get on and know all the regulars. The staff are all so hardworking and friendly.”
Other categories in the Best Bar None awards will be judged by a panel visiting each bar and categories will include best pub, best late night venue and best door staff.
The awards night will be held at Oceana nightclub on Tuesday, November 6.
The UK-wide awards, which are in their sixth year in Kingston, aim to recognise the positive contribution made to communities by responsible licensees and promote sensible drinking.
