The search is on for writers for a book celebrating the best UK poetry.
The National Poetry Anthology is seeking poets in Sutton to submit their best works to be published in an annual best of UK poetry book.
Entry is free and, along with being published as Sutton’s winning poet, the winner will receive a free copy of the anthology.
One overall winner will also receive £1,000. Last year’s book featured 257 winning poets.
To enter, send three unpublished poems on any subject (enclose a loose stamp if you want a reply) to United Press, Admail 3735, London EC1B 1JB before the closing date of June 30.
Poems must be up to 25 lines each, including blank lines, and no more than 160 words.
