A reader did a double take when he spotted this beautiful double rainbow over the skies of Madingley.
Philip Holt snapped this picture of the unusual weather phenomenon from his flat in Norbiton Hall.
He said: "There was a big black cloud that drifted across Kingston.
"I thought it was a real storm or a hail storm but nothing came of it. Then I saw this beautiful double rainbow.
"The end of it seemed to end on top of the block of flats which shone as if it had just been built.
"Now finished, and the flats reoccupied, perhaps the fortunes of those residents will change, as I hope there is a pot of gold at the end of the rainbow for them."
Meanwhile another double rainbow made one Californian man a YouTube sensation when his trippy experience witnessing a pair of colourful stripes in the sky became a hit on the web and drew more than 1.5 million views.
