Nursery school children enjoyed a special graduation ceremony on Tuesday, July 18.
The children from Teddies Nursery in Esher dressed up in graduation gowns and performed songs for their parents.
The deputy mayor of Elmbridge, Councillor Janet Turner, also attended the event to hand out certificates and a graduate teddy bear to each child.
Kellie Woolley, the nursery’s manager, said: “Following the ceremony, the children, parents and nursery staff all sat together and enjoyed a tasty buffet. All the parents who attended enjoyed the ceremony and a few tears were shed.”
