A teenage girl was injured after a hit-and-run incident as she tried to cross the road, police said.
The incident took place at about 4.30pm on Friday, July 15, when the girl and two friends, who were walking down Walton Road, West Molesey, became involved in a brief argument with three men in a silver Vauxhall Corsa.
The car drove off, but as the girl crossed the road at the junction with Bishop Fox Way, the driver turned around in the road and drove at her at high speed, running over her foot. He then sped away from the scene.
The girl was taken to Kingston Hospital with injuries to her foot, while officers from Surrey Police took down statements from shocked onlookers.
The three men were in their late teens or early 20s.
