Students challenging a world record danced to the Michael Jackson hit Thriller in an attempt to Beat It.
The 354 students from the Oasis Academy got on the floor after Working Day and Night on their routine since the challange began in May.
The current record stands at 242 and was set by Kevin Dua in the USA in an event at the College of William and Mary, Williamsburg, Virginia, USA on April 19, 2009.
Putting students and staff through their paces was dance teacher Chané Van der Berg who is confident the academy can succeed with the World Record attempt.
Miss Van der Berg said: “I am extremely proud of the students and staff of Oasis Academy Coulsdon.
"Michael Jackson's Thriller choreography is quite challenging to learn, but each member of the Academy has put in so much effort to learn the dance and they have all worked so well together.”
The academy will send the video footage to Guinness Book of World Records to see if the succeeded in seizing the title.
