Flood alerts have been issued from Putney Bridge to Teddington Weir.
The Environment Agency forecasts high tides of 4.6 metres at Richmond at 3.45pm today, rising as high as 4.65 metres by 4pm tomorrow.
Areas that could be affected by flooding are Putney Embankment, Chiswick Mall, Strand on the Green, Thames Bank at Mortlake, Ranelagh Drive, Friars Lane and Water Lane, Riverside and The Embankment at Twickenham.
The Towpath below Teddington Lock is also at risk of potential flooding.
