Kingston police are appealing for witnesses after a woman suffered “deep lacerations” to her face during a dog attack.
The 25-year-old was bitten at 11.45am near Barclays Bank in Clarence Street on July 13 and suffered a serious slash to her upper lip.
The victim was taken to hospital while the owner and his white-coloured dog made off towards Kingston Bridge.
A 53-year-old man from Feltham was arrested for an offence under the Dangerous Dogs Act on July 21.
He has been bailed until mid-August pending further enquiries.
