Entertainer and former Celebrity Big Brother contestant Lionel Blair showed he still has the moves at a Cheam gym yesterday in a bid to get seniors out and exercising.
The 83-year-old said he wanted to encourage older people to get active and exercise if they were able to.
Mr Blair, who lives in Banstead Road, Banstead, visits the Tone in 10 gym, in Cheam High Street, regularly and demonstrated his exercise routine with your very own Sutton reporter.
Mr Blair said that since he joined the gym in Cheam High Street he has started to feel fitter and stronger and wanted to show how easy exercising can be for seniors.
He said: "I just want to get people my age interested in exercising.
"I will admit I am a bit of a couch potato, but even if I do just ten minutes a day I feel fresh and awake."
"And I want others to know there are better ways to keep fit than sitting in a care home and copying a teacher's movements."
