A motorcyclist was taken to hospital with serious head and leg injuries after a crash involving six other vehicles on the A3.
Police were called to reports of a collision near the A3 Malden Way turnoff on the Kingston bypass at about 5.40pm yesterday.

Paramedics also attended and a 43-year-old man was taken to a south London hospital for treatment.
A Metropolitan Police spokeswoman said: “His condition is serious but not believed to be life threatening.”
The entire A3 was closed off for more than two hours following the smash.
No arrests have been made. Anyone who witnessed the accident should call the serious collision investigation unit by dialling 101.
