I do not often use Kingston station, but last week I needed to.
I went to the Cromwell Road bus garage, and was just waiting to cross the busy Richmond Road over to the station when, to my great surprise, I saw the name has been changed.
I have read or heard nothing about this, and I do think that for an important name change, much more publicity should have been given.
There, in 2ft-high letters, on the main frontage under the British Rail logo, and under the flag pole, is the name Costa. Could this new name have been brought about by the recent high increases in the cost of travel by rail?
