The White Hart Pub - an update from The Fircroft Trust
2:53pm Monday 16th August 2010 in Your Say
The courtyard and sensory garden for our residents.
By Susannah Horwood of the Fircroft Trust
We finally feel as though we are getting closer to the start of our building project on The White Hart Pub site on the Hook Road.
We have recently had a variety of professionals on site to do soil testing, drain insepctions and other necessary works.
You may also have noticed a team making the site safe for demolition. We are so pleased the new hoarding is now in place and so far has kept the vandals at bay.
Demolition is due to take place in the next two weeks, as soon as we have the date and time the works will begin we will post it on Chessington Live so that our neighbours can take necessary precautions such as closing windows to avoid excessive dust.
We are very grateful to all our neighbours in Hook who have had to put up with the vandalism that has taken such toll on the building and made it such an eyesore.
We truly hope this is now behind us and we can finally start to build the wonderful new homes that our residents deserve.
