Legendary Welsh prop Adam Jones will be sitting in the stands at Twickenham tomorrow knowing exactly what is coming Wales’ way – and he admits he misses taking on the South African bullies.
Wales face the Springboks for a place in the Rugby World Cup semi-finals nine months after the 34-year-old called time on his international career following his omission from his country’s 2015 Six Nations squad.
“One to 10 Wales are as strong as they can be, but we are down to the last few players in Wales in some positions in the backs,” said the Harlequins front rower.
“The way they have fronted up has been exceptional so far and I would expect more of the same from them.
“You know what to expect from South Africa. They will base their game around the power game and they’ll try and bully you.
“I do miss it, but the way Wales have gone has been pretty special.”
