Battersea’s Bradley Skeete faces his biggest challenge yet when he meets Colin Lynes for the vacant English welterweight title this Saturday.
The 26-year-old is unbeaten in 13 fights but will have to step up a gear as the vastly experienced Lynes, from Hornchurch, is a former British and European champion.
Veteran Lynes, 35, has only entered the ring twice since 2007 – first in 2009 to win the British welterweight title, and again in 2012 to lose it.
The bout takes place in the Copper Box Arena S at the Olympic Park, the site of Skeete’s last win over Kieron Gray in September.
Topping the 10-fight bill is Dereck Chisora’s defence of his European heavyweight title against Ondrej Pala.
