Epsom boxer Brad Halford has warned rival Shane Graham that he has the power to end their upcoming battle with just one punch.

The pair collide this weekend for the vacant Queensbury English Light Welterweight title.

Halford, 33, has floored all four of his previous victims during his time in the competition, and he enters the contest as favourite.

He said: “I’ve seen Shane box once before, and although I don’t know that much about him, he looks strong and powerful so I’m going to have my hands full on the night.

“Since joining the shows ranks I’ve floored every opponent I’ve fought, and in my last title defence I stopped Jon Martin in the first round who had previously gone the distance with big punchers up at light-middleweight, so I know the power is there.”

He added: “Training has been going really well for this fight and I’ve been concentrating on getting in as much sparring as possible, so whether this turns out to be a boxing match or a war, I’ll be more than ready to face what he brings.”

Halford’s title challenge will top the bill on the stacked 14-bout line up taking place at the Effingham Park Hotel near Crawley in West Sussex.
