A team made up of former Arsenal players and celebrities will be taking part in a charity football match at Molesey FC next month to help raise money for Great Ormond Street Hospital.
Celebrities such as EastEnders actor Phil Daniels, Royle Family star Ralph Little and Spandau Ballet singer Tony Hadley and ex-Arsenal professional players Danny O’Shea, Brian Hornsby and Ian Allison are among the famous faces expected to face The Lillywhites on Sunday, August 1 (1pm).
Family tickets are highly recommended as the day will also include balloon modellers, an inflatable castles, cake stalls, games and healthy treat stalls.
There will also be an opportunity win a family tour of Twickenham Rugby Stadium, a trip to Thorpe Park and the London Aquarium, plus many other prizes.
Visitors to the match will also be able to bid for signed Arsenal and Tottenham Hotspur shirts and many other signed items.
Sponsors are now being invited to take part in the event – there is still space for company logos to be put on kits, the trophy and the match day ball.
Anyone interested in sponsoring the event should call Jon Ewens on 07528 794062.
