Blues put sharp shooter on top of summer wishlist

Met Police boss Jimmy Cooper is after a new striker to fire a Ryman Premier League play-off push next term. Former Sutton United striker Richard Jolly hit the winner in play-off chasing Wealdstone’s 2-1 win at Imber Court on Saturday.

“The difference is finishing and in a word, Jolly. He does not need many chances and we were punished,” Cooper said before this week’s final day trip to Hastings United.

“Chances are more difficult to make in this league, so you have to take them when they come. We’re not far off. With some fine tuning, we can be closer.”
