Goalkeeper Rob Tolfrey starred for Kingstonian on Saturday, despite being the subject of a Football Association disciplinary investigation.
The 27-year-old shotstopper, who was reported to the FA after tussling with away fans in the wake of last week’s 3-1 defeat to Bognor Regis Town, pulled off the save of the match as Ks hung on for a 3-3 draw with title-chasing Margate on Saturday.
Boss Tommy Williams’ men had led 3-1 through goals Sam Page, Pelayo Pico Gomez and captain Alan Inns, before midfielder Steve Laidler’s 45th minute sending off.
Margate hit back through Charlie Wassmer – seconds later – and ex-Ks striker Ryan Moss after the break and needed Tolfrey to save from Lewis Taylor to earn a draw.
“He [Rob Tolfrey] has just shown what a professional character he is,” said Williams of his keeper.
