It's five pre-season wins from six for the Dons as their first team stars stepped up to the plate.
The big guns scored twice in the second half to take down tenants Kingstonian, who put in a spirited display before eventually succumbing to the Blue Square Bet Premier side.
Jon Main and Lee Minshull got the goals that saw off Alan Dowson's men inside the final 20 minutes.
The first half was flat but Carl Wilson Dennis forced Jack Turner into a fine save.
Wimbledon manager Terry Brown rung the changes in the second half and it worked a treat as the hosts came on strong.
Their pressure eventually told when striker Main finally broke the deadlock after a great through ball by Rashid Yussuff. It was too inviting for the number ten as he dinked the ball over the Ks keeper with style.
It was 2-0 when impressive Lee Minshull doubled the lead with a close range effort following Danny Kedwell's knockdown in the box.
Brown was happy with the outcome – but is still sweating on midfielder Steven Gregory's scan results that could see the holding player ruled out for the start of the season.
“With the exception of Ed Harris, with his ankle, I'm pleased that nobody got injured tonight” he confessed.
“I was pleased with tonight's performance. Ricky Wellard bossed the midfield in the second half, and the first goal was a typical Main strike.
“There was a lot to like – Kingstonian played well in the first half, but I'm pleased with the way the first team is forming. All the players will benefit from a tough workout at Exeter on Saturday.
“In terms of the two trialist defenders Ed and Fraser (Franks) we will have to see how Gregs is. I don't want to spend all our money and then have to replace him.”
