Former Sutton United winger Marvin Williams has been appointed as the club’s new development/U21 manager and he cannot wait to get started.
The 27-year-old will take on the role alongside his position as the academy manager.
Williams said: “I will be working closely with Paul on both roles.
“The eventual aim is to get players into the first team and, as has been shown by the club before, they will give you a chance.
“It’s up to these young men to accept the challenge and progress"
United boss Paul Doswell said: “It’s a great fit for Marvin, and it helps the first team players when they need game time due to injury or suspensions.
“This will be hugely beneficial to the football club."
