GETTING TO THE EVENT

Trams

Trams will be partially suspended from mid-afternoon to late evening.

There will be no through tram service across Croydon town centre after 2pm until very late evening. Services will operate as normal the next day (Wednesday).

Trams from Beckenham Junction, Elmers End and New Addington will terminate at East Croydon.

Trams from Wimbledon will terminate at Reeves Corner.

Line 4 will not run.

Bus 410 links East Croydon and Reeves Corner but due to road closures and traffic diversions, through passengers may find it quicker to walk via Fell Road/Charles Street or West Croydon.

Go to www.tfl.gov.uk/trams or call 03432 221234 for more information.

Buses

Buses that normally run along High Street, Katharine Street and Park Street will be diverted to run along nearby Fell Road and Park Lane.

Roads

The 1km route starts in North End and goes down High Street to the junction with Mint Walk.

It then goes up Surrey Street and Frith Road before going into Keeley Road and then back into North End.

Croydon Council says the majority of roads on the event route will close to traffic from 2pm.

Some of the roads will close as early as 7am to allow for set up.

All roads are expected to reopen by midnight.

Access for emergency vehicles and pedestrian access to businesses will be maintained at all times.

Vehicles will not be able to cross the route while the road closures are in place.

Some roads surrounding the route will also be affected and parking restrictions will apply in some areas – check local signs to see where and when suspensions will apply.
