Crystal Palace have three of the Premier League's toughest tackling players, according to Opta statistics.

Martin Kelly, Joel Ward and Mile Jedinak are rated by Opta-powered fantasty football game Oulala.com as among the top six players in the league who have won the most tackles.

Australia captain Jedinak has also put in more tackles than any other Premier League defensive midfielder, according to combined stats.

Chelsea midfielder Nemanja Matic leads the list with 69 successful tackles, while both Palace defender Kelly and Hull City's George Boyd take the second place with 58 tackles won.

Fourth is former Palace man Nathaniel Clyne, who has won 56 tackles in 22 appearances, for Southampton this season.

He is followed by two Eagles' players: Ward has managed 52 tackles, the same as his team-mate Mile Jedinak who is, according to combined stats, the second best Premier League midfielder behind Eden Hazard.

In addition to that, no defensive midfielder in the Premier League has managed more tackles than the Socceroos captain.

Alan Pardew will be looking for more of the same when Liverpool visit Selhurst Park for the FA Cup fifth round on Saturday.
