Neil Warnock praised Wilfried Zaha after his late intervention helped Crystal Palace claw back a consolation goal against Chelsea.

Zaha has made four appearances since returning to Selhurst Park from Old Trafford, including a goal on his second debut at Newcastle United.

Warnock has taken on the winger’s development, and says his attitude is hitting the mark.

“Wilfried has been working very hard with me in the past 10 days, and he knows what I think about him, what I’m going to do about him and he’s clear on that,” he said.

“His discipline is a lot better, he’s learning when to do his tricks and when not to do his tricks and you see in the right area when he gets the ball he’s as good as anybody.”

“Wilfried has to learn one or two things” he added.

“He’s gone to a massive club early on his career where you don’t get a lot of coaching and I think that’s what he needs because his attitude is spot on.

“People question that but I think that’s because he’s got silhouetted boots with flashing lights on, but his attitude has been super for me.”
