This month we come to the end of the football season, and as well as the highs and lows of the Premier League, many clubs at grassroots level have faced the same turbulent season.

Woking FC reached the Blue Square Conference South play-offs but was unable to secure promotion.

Sutton United, won the Ryman Isthmian Premier Division comfortably and will now be playing their football in the Blue-Square Conference South League.

Leatherhead FC defeated Dulwich Hamlet 4-3 in the Ryman League First Division (South) play-off Final.

They will be playing in the Ryman Premier League from next season along with the Metropolitan Police, who were promoted as league champions.

Unfortunately Leatherhead were not as successful in the Surrey County Cup, perhaps the play offs taking the wind out of them, as they lost to Corinthian Casuals 2-0, for Casuals this was the first Surrey Senior Cup win since 1954.

Guildford City FC won the Combined Counties FL Premier Division but second placed Chertsey Town FC will take their place in the Ryman Isthmian Division One South due to ground grading issues.

Worcester Park FC won Combined Counties FL Division One, ground grading means that Farnham Town FC took their place.

South Park F.C. had a treble to celebrate, not just gaining promotion from the Combined Counties Football League; they also won the League Cup and the Surrey Premier County Cup. Bookham FC and Croydon FC finished in the bottom two places of the Premier Division and were relegated to Division One of Combined Counties. Dorking Wanderers FC won Sussex County Division Three by a 16-point margin only losing 4 of their 30 matches.

In the first half of the FA Women’s Super League, a new semi professional, summer women’s football league which will be contested by 8 teams from around the country, Chelsea, are currently third in the table as the league takes a break for the Women’s World Cup in Germany this summer.

Fixtures start up again on July 22, with Chelsea’s next home game on 31st July 2011 against Doncaster Belles, kick off 2pm at Tooting & Mitcham FC.

Still to come in Surrey is the climax of The Football Associations domestic Futsal season, which will see the six leading Futsal clubs in England go head-to-head over an intense and exciting weekend of Futsal at the Surrey Sports Park in Guildford on the 11th and 12th June 2011.
