Day at the beach for Surbiton Women's Institute

The Surbiton’s Women Institute (WI) swapped a Berrylands hall for a day at the beach to enjoy one of the hottest days of the year.
Instead of holding their usual monthly meeting at Berrylands Christian Centre, members headed to Worthing, where they enjoyed a traditional fish and chip lunch and a stroll along the pier.
They later joined the West Durrington WI for a raffle to raise money for children’s charity Momentum, based at Kingston Hospital.
The next meeting will be held on September 11 and will feature demonstrations on flower arranging.
