Multi award-winning comedian Russell Kane will give audiences a sneak peek of his new tour next week.

The Essex lad and self proclaimed “council boy to comedy king” will perform a preview of his stand-up tour, called Posturing Delivery, in Surbiton.

The live performer has just finished hosting BBC Three’s new hit late-night comedy series, Live at the Electric and co-presenting Britain Unzipped.

He has become a household name after appearing on shows including I’m A Celebrity... Get Me Out of Here Now! and gave a bootylicious performance of Beyonce’s Crazy in Love on the Let’s Dance for Comic Relief final.

His stand-up show Smokescreens & Castles won him both the Edinburgh Comedy Award and the Barry Award at the Melbourne International Comedy Festival, in the same year, 2010.

The 31-year-old has also released his debut novel, The Humorist, which was published this year.
