Woman cut from car following four-car pile-up on the A3
A woman, believed to be in her 40s, was cut free from her car this morning after being involved in a crash on the A3.
Firemen cut the roof off the woman's car and she was taken to hospital with neck and back injuries.
The injured driver's car had been involved in a 40mph crash with three other vehicles at about 7.45am this morning.
The road, travelling southbound between Hook and Tolworth, was temporarily closed this morning and then was operating a one-lane system.
Cars are still queued up with traffic jams reaching as far as Tolworth.
