Choral society to present grand musical showpiece

British soprano singer Elisabeth Meister who has already sung leading roles at the Royal Opera and Chicago Lyric Opera will perform on the night.
A church hall will be turned into an opera theatre for one night only later this month.
Kingston Choral Society will be presenting a grand musical showpiece taking audiences to A Night at the Opera.
British soprano singer Elisabeth Meister who has already sung leading roles at the Royal Opera and Chicago Lyric Opera will perform on the night.
Korean tenor Ji-Min Park, who has performed at the Sydney Opera House, will also take to the stage.
The singing duo will be joined by pianist Susanna Stranders and conductor Andrew Griffiths for a sparkling evening of arias, duets and choruses over the course of the operatic night at St Andrew’s Church in Surbiton.
The 120-strong member society will cover music from the 18th century down to the present day, ranging from Mozart to Mascagni.
The Kingston Choral Society hosts four major concerts a year.
