Volunters wanted to help Kingston aviation festival fly

Volunteers are needed to help the upcoming aviation festival take off.

The Kingston Aviation Festival, which runs in the Market Place between June 2 and 5, will celebrate 100 years since Tommy Sopwith set up his first factory in the borough in 1912.

Displays, models, original paintings, photographs and exciting visual displays will be on offer, as well as the star attraction, a Sopwith Camel WW1 fighter aircraft.

If you can spare a half day or more over the event weekend, volunteers are needed in various roles including stewards in the exhibitions.
