  • "Scott, Scott! You really shouldn't lose your temper quite so easily, and if you do perhaps not so publicly.

A few thoughts, if I may.

One. As the local Tory party see your point of view as increasingly irrelevant why do you do them the favour of supporting them. You said the Lib Dems got a bloody nose locally. That's right, we did. However did you not notice the enormous drubbing the Tories got all over the country? 2014 might not be the cake walk the local Tories expect and that whole Station betrayal is still going to resonate in two years time. Don't forget also, that the Lib Dems handed your tory colleagues on planning a lifeline and they waived it away.

Two. Which specific rules of planning do you have an issue with? I'd be delighted to know

Three. You don't actually address the whole Position vs Principle point. Don't forget the Tories campaigned on the bogeyman of Lib Dems allowing in the station high rise and it was they who allowed it through

Four. The Tories do realise that the Jubilee weekend is the first weekend of June? Not the last weekend! Two years of planning and you can't even get that one right. Dear oh dear oh DEAR!"
