The legendary goat boy of Seething Wells will take to the streets of Surbiton on Sunday to remind people to do something for their neighbours.

Each year the “villagers” of Seething celebrate the mythical tale of Lefi Ganderson driving the giant Thamas Deeton from the town by holding a fancy dress procession through the streets of Surbiton.

The Seething Festival 2012 will begin at 2.30pm in Jewsons Yard, Brighton Road, where masks and headdresses will be made for the grand procession at 2.30pm, with entertainment running until 6pm.

The made-up myth of Lefi Ganderson is the wacky invention of Robin Hutchinson, one of the brains behind Homage de Fromage, the British bread golf open and Ski Sunday.
