Police have launched an appeal after a man alleged he was raped in the toilets of a Norbiton nightclub.
The 21-year-old was at Escape nightclub in London Road, Kingston, at about 3am on July 18 when he was allegedly attacked, although police have just released details of the alleged assault.
Escape was Kingston's only gay nightclub, but has since closed for unconnected reasons.
Police are now appealing for help in identifying a man who they believe may have information about the alleged attack.
A police spokesman said the man told his family about the alleged incident the following morning and reported it to police.
Specialist officers from the Metropolitan Police’s Sapphire unit are investigating and want anybody who recognises the man in the CCTV to get in touch with them.
