Do you have unwanted overcoats, sweaters, jumpers, and vests that you could donate to a good cause?
The charity Afghan Action is calling for your warm clothes to send on to Afghanistan, where bitter winters often send temperatures to a biting minus 25 degrees centigrade.
The charity has set up a factory in Kabul to train and employ young Afghan men and women to make carpets, providing vital employment opportunities.
Health services and a meal are also provided for the trainees, but many staff members cannot afford to buy winter clothing and turn up for work in T-shirts and shawls.
If you would like to help, call Ken Bartlett, chairman of Afghan Action, on 07951 930692 or deliver your donations to Kingston United Reformed Church in Eden Street by Friday, November 6.
Visit afghanaction.com for more information or to see some of the beautiful work produced at the factories.
