Furious campaigners protesting the removal of New Malden’s Fountain roundabout have set up a petition to have the decision called in for review.
Councillors voted to remove the roundabout to make way for the latest development of mini-Holland cycling tracks at a residents committee meeting last week, causing anger amongst many New Malden residents.
Campaign group Malden Independent Community Organisation have now set up a petition, which needs 100 signatures to see the decision reviewed, calling the appeal the “one final chance to save” the roundabout.
