A man was taken to hospital after suffering a cardiac arrest near the Bentall Centre in Kingston town centre.
Paramedics were called to reports of a man, whose age has not been released by authorities, having fallen unconscious in Clarence Street at 2.46pm on Friday.
The man was found in cardiac arrest and was taken as a priority to a south London hospital. His condition is unknown.
An air ambulance, ambulance crew and incident response officer were all sent, with the first of the paramedics arriving within seven minutes of the man collapsing, London Ambulance Service said.
