Three men have denied committing an assault that led to the three day closure of a Kingston town centre night club.
The Viper Rooms, in Thames Street, had its licence revoked after French nationals Sebastian Legendre and Floren Zirah were attacked at 2am by a group of men in Clarence Street on October 19 last year.
Jay Beer, 21, of David Twigg Close, who is related to the club’s manager Luis Beer, the club’s ex-glass collector Scott Nicholls, 21, of Richmond Park Road and Scott Moodie, 28, from Hammersmith, all denied charges of actual bodily harm when they appeared at Kingston Crown Court on Monday.
Mr Beer also denied affray and Mr Moodie criminal damage.
A fourth defendant Nathan Peardon, 23, of School Lane, is also charged with ABH and affray.
He is set to appear in the same court in March.
The group had all allegedly been drinking in the Viper Rooms on the night of the attack.
The club reopened with 14 conditions attached to its license after a full review hearing on November 12.
A trial date has been set for May 21.
