A partially-sighted Kingston teenager has been chosen to represent Great Britain in the 2015 School Paralympic Games in Brazil.
Hollyfield School student Souleyman Bah, 16, is among eight athletes chosen to travel to Natal, Brazil, to compete in the annual competition, which starts next week.
Last year saw more than 1,200 competitors take part.
Souleyman first took up track athletics in 2010, and this year won gold at the London Youth Games ParaGames. He trains at Kingston Athletics Club.
He said: “I couldn’t believe it when the coach said I’d been selected.”
