Although perhaps not really a UFO, Kingston police were still very perplexed to find an unknown object in the middle of the road.
At about midnight on Saturday, October 17, a 999 call came from a worried member of the public to say there was something on fire in Malden Road near Sheephouse Way.
Officers from the emergency response team were said to be sent with the London Fire Brigade.

London Fire Brigade had no record of this call out.
A Kingston police spokesman said: "The officers that arrived on scene described the item as looking like a crash landed UFO."

It transpired the object is a pizza oven. But how it got there, and on fire, is still not known.
