A famous Kingston music venue is hosting an event where all the bar takings will go to help people affected by the refugee crisis in Syria.
Managers of the Fight Cocks in Old London Road say they have been "so moved" by the crisis they are holding the all-day event that will see live performances from 12 local bands today.
Jamie O'Grady, manager of the pub, said: "After recent events in the Mediterranean we were moved to host this event with some like-minded killer bands "This is not a political event but a humanitarian one."
The event starts at 1pm on October 10 and there is a £3 entry fee. All proceeds will go to the Migrant Offshore Aid Station.
