THIS ghostly photograph of the full moon surrounded by a swirl of colours was taken in the skies over Barnet.
Chief Times and Independent Series photographer Peter Beal noticed a rainbow-like glow behind the moon at around 10pm last night and headed outside to capture the spectacular sight.
He said: “Gorgeous orange and yellow lights were wrapped around the perimeter of the moon.”
