A young woman found dead at a student halls of residence in Kingston has been named locally as 21-year-old Siew Hoon also known as Dawn.
The body of the Singaporean business and economics student was found in the new Davidson House halls in Penrhyn Road by Kingston police officers conducting a welfare check.
A Metropolitan Police spokeswoman said officers were called to the building at 12.14pm on Wednesday, March 25.
She added: "She was pronounced dead at the scene. The death is being treated as non-suspicious."
