Takers have snapped up Kingston Breakfast Run’s new longer 20-mile route.
Places for the debut route that takes in Kingston’s Ancient Market Place and the historic Hampton Court Palace as well as the River Thames has sold out for the March 15 event.
The run, organised by Chessington-based Human Race, is in its 25th year and, for the first time, will be sponsored by supermarket Lidl.
Nick Rusling from Human Race said: “We know a lot of runners use this as preparation for a full marathon so we thought we would try something a little longer this year. Twenty miles at the Lidl Kingston Breakfast Run is the ultimate leg stretch before the big day.”
