South West Trains has announced extra trains on Christmas Eve and late-night services on New Year's Day.
The operator said it will use Christmas Day and Boxing Day, when trains will not run, to begin engineering work at Wimbledon station.
SWT said passengers should check their journeys online before travelling throughout the festive period.
On Christmas Eve, revised services will begin at 7pm and trains will stop at 11pm.
Timetables will deviate from normal until Monday, January 5.
The £7m scheme to replace a dozen sets of points at Wimbledon will continue on weekends throughout January and early February, when trains will not pass through the station.
