Two men have appeared in court charged with raping a 19-year-old woman in Kingston.
Saeed Fatemi, 20, and Mojtaba Changi, 32, both of Lea Bridge Road in Walthamstow, east London, are accused of raping the woman in Canbury Gardens on Saturday, September 13.
They appeared at Wimbledon Magistrates’ Court this morning and were remanded in custody.
They will next appear at Kingston Crown Court on Thursday, October 2.
In the last few minutes, Kingston police tweeted a message from borough commander Glenn Tunstall which said: “I would like to provide reassurance that Kingston continues to be a safe place and crime continues to fall.
"Should offences of this nature take place police will work with our partners to support victims and bring offenders to justice.”
