A woman escaped with minor injuries after falling in front of a train at Kingston station this morning.
The incident took place at 7.14am and British Transport Police and Met Police attended the scene.
A British Transport Police spokesperson said: “A 52 year old female was taken ill and fell in front of a train arriving at Kingston station.
"The incident was not fatal and the female suffered minor injuries.
"Police are not treating the incident as suspicious.”
Kingston fire station sent three fire engines and a fire rescue unit.
There were disruptions to journeys between Kingston and Shepperton as a result of the incident, with services returning to normal from around 8.50am.
