A 22-year-old man has appeared in court this morning accused of murder.

Ashley Milne, of Haslam Street, Peckham, appeared at South West London Magistrates' Court after being charged on Saturday afternoon.

He made no application for bail and was remanded in custody until a hearing at the Old Bailey on Wednesday.

Members of Mr Milne's family were at the hearing sitting in the public gallery.

A second person, a 19-year-old man, is in a north London police station after he was arrested yesterday on suspicion of murder.
